GatiDoc is operated by Dip Rohitbhai Desai, carrying on business under the trade name TECHNOFET (“TECHNOFET”, “GatiDoc”, “we”, “us” or “our”, as applicable).

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, stored, shared and otherwise processed when you visit the GatiDoc website, contact us, request a demo, create or use a GatiDoc account, or use GatiDoc's services.

It also explains the choices and rights available to individuals in relation to their personal data under applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules brought into force under it.

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy may apply to:

  • visitors to the GatiDoc website
  • people requesting a demo
  • people contacting GatiDoc
  • account users
  • authorised users of businesses using GatiDoc
  • individuals whose personal data may be entered into GatiDoc by a business customer

Where TECHNOFET determines why and how personal data is processed, it is responsible for that processing as applicable under law.

Where a business customer enters or processes personal data about its customers, prospects, employees or other individuals through GatiDoc for that business's own purposes, that business may have its own obligations regarding that personal data. GatiDoc processes such information to provide the service to the business customer and as otherwise described in applicable agreements and this policy.

Depending on how you interact with us:

  • message or enquiry content
  • demo requirements or other information you voluntarily provide

GatiDoc account information

Where applicable:

  • company or business information
  • authentication and account information
  • account settings

Business and sales information entered into GatiDoc

Depending on how a customer uses GatiDoc:

  • customer and company information
  • contact-person information
  • quotation information
  • product information
  • invoice and related sales-document information, where used
  • enquiry information
  • follow-up information
  • comments and descriptions
  • sales activity and history
  • other information entered by authorised users

Some of this information may constitute personal data when it identifies or relates to an individual.

AI interactions

Information submitted when users use AI-assisted functionality may include:

  • prompts and questions
  • relevant quotation or sales information
  • relevant customer or deal context
  • generated responses

Only information required by the relevant functionality may be processed through the AI service as technically configured.

Technical and website usage information

On the public GatiDoc website only, and only if you choose to allow website analytics, we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand website usage, performance and visitor interaction and to improve the website. Depending on the tool, this may include pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser information, referring website, and interaction information such as clicks, scrolling and page movement. See “Cookies and website analytics” below. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are not used inside the main GatiDoc SaaS application.

Some pages of the public GatiDoc website contain an embedded YouTube video, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed mode where currently implemented. When a visitor chooses to play or interact with an embedded YouTube video, YouTube/Google may process technical, device, interaction or viewing information according to its own privacy practices. GatiDoc does not control YouTube's or Google's subsequent processing of such information, and privacy-enhanced mode does not prevent all data collection by YouTube/Google.

3. Why we process personal data

We process personal data to:

  • provide and operate GatiDoc
  • create and manage accounts
  • provide quotation and sales-execution functionality
  • respond to enquiries
  • arrange and follow up on demo requests
  • provide customer support
  • operate AI-assisted features requested by users
  • maintain security and prevent abuse
  • troubleshoot and improve reliability
  • communicate service-related information
  • comply with applicable legal obligations

5. How GatiDoc uses AI

GatiDoc includes AI-assisted functionality such as Voice Intelligence, AI Follow-up, Gati Copilot, Gati Insight and Gati AI Advice.

Anthropic Claude is currently used as an AI technology provider for relevant AI functionality. Depending on the feature, relevant prompts, business information and sales context may be processed through the AI provider to generate the requested functionality.

AI assistance is intended to support your work and decision-making. Users remain responsible for reviewing outputs and making business decisions.

6. Service providers

GatiDoc uses third-party service providers where needed to operate the service, including:

Firebase
Infrastructure/backend used for the GatiDoc SaaS application.
Vercel
Hosting of the public GatiDoc website.
Lovable Cloud
Backend services for the public GatiDoc website, including its database, website form storage, blog content and images, and sign-in for the website's administration area.
Resend
Transactional email delivery for website enquiries and demo requests.
Anthropic Claude
AI processing for relevant GatiDoc functionality.
Google Analytics (Google)
Analytics for the public GatiDoc website, loaded only if you allow website analytics. Not used inside the GatiDoc SaaS application.
Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft)
Understanding how visitors interact with the public GatiDoc website, such as clicks, scrolling and session behaviour, loaded only if you allow website analytics. Not used inside the GatiDoc SaaS application.
YouTube (Google)
Embedded video playback on the public GatiDoc website, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed mode where currently implemented. When a visitor chooses to play or interact with an embedded YouTube video, YouTube/Google may process technical, device, interaction or viewing information according to its own privacy practices. This does not mean that all data collection is prevented, nor does GatiDoc control Google's subsequent processing of such information.

Service providers may process personal data only as relevant to the services they provide and subject to applicable arrangements and law.

7. Cookies and website analytics

The public GatiDoc website uses technologies that are strictly necessary for it to function, such as those used for signing in to the website's administration area, and stores your website analytics choice in your browser so that we can respect it.

With your permission, the public website also uses Google Analytics (provided by Google) and Microsoft Clarity (provided by Microsoft). These tools are not loaded unless you select “Allow analytics” in the notice shown on the website. Once allowed, they may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and collect information about how you use the website, such as pages visited, device and browser information, approximate location derived from your IP address, and interactions such as clicks, scrolling and page movement. Google and Microsoft process this information according to their own privacy practices. We use it to understand website usage, performance and visitor interaction and to improve the website.

We do not intentionally send the contents of our website forms or other personal data you type into the website to these tools, and they are not loaded in the website's administration area. We do not use advertising cookies. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are not used inside the main GatiDoc SaaS application.

You can decline analytics in the notice, and you can withdraw your consent at any time using the button below (where shown) or by clearing this website's data in your browser. You may also contact support@gatidoc.com.

Separately from GatiDoc's own analytics, some pages contain an embedded YouTube video. When a visitor chooses to play or interact with that video, data may be processed by YouTube/Google according to its own privacy practices. This interaction is not described here as GatiDoc analytics — it is third-party processing by YouTube/Google within the embedded player. GatiDoc does not control YouTube's or Google's subsequent processing of such information.

8. Data sharing

Personal data may be shared:

  • with service providers needed to operate GatiDoc
  • where requested or authorised by the customer or user
  • where required to comply with applicable law, legal process or a lawful governmental request
  • in connection with a legitimate restructuring or business transfer, where legally permitted and subject to appropriate safeguards

We do not sell personal data.

9. Cross-border processing

Some service providers used by GatiDoc, including website hosting, backend, email, AI and website analytics providers, may process or store information using infrastructure located outside India. Where personal data is transferred or processed outside India, we will handle such transfers subject to restrictions and requirements applicable under Indian law.

10. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or processed, including providing the service, maintaining required business records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, maintaining security and complying with applicable law.

Where applicable law requires deletion following withdrawal of consent or when the specified purpose is no longer served, we will handle deletion in accordance with applicable requirements, subject to legally permitted retention.

Business data controlled by a customer may also be subject to that customer's instructions and the applicable agreement.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the personal data and the risks involved, including measures intended to control access and protect systems against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we continue to take our responsibilities under applicable law seriously.

12. Personal data breaches

If we become aware of a personal data breach, we will take steps to investigate, contain and remediate it and provide notifications to affected individuals and relevant authorities where required by applicable law.

13. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights including:

  • obtaining information about personal data being processed
  • correction of inaccurate or misleading personal data
  • completion of incomplete personal data
  • updating personal data
  • erasure, where applicable
  • withdrawing consent where processing depends on consent
  • grievance redressal
  • nomination, as provided by applicable law

Requests concerning access to information, correction, completion, updating, erasure, consent withdrawal and privacy grievances can be sent to support@gatidoc.com. These requests are currently handled manually by our team; there is no automated self-service mechanism at present. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Grievances will be handled in accordance with applicable law. After using the available grievance mechanism, you may have the right to approach the Data Protection Board of India in accordance with applicable law, where applicable.

15. Children

GatiDoc is a business sales product and is not intended for use by children. We do not intentionally solicit children's personal data through GatiDoc. If personal data relating to a child is processed, applicable requirements concerning children's data will be followed.

16. Customer responsibilities

Business customers and their authorised users are responsible for ensuring they have an appropriate basis and authority to enter personal data concerning their customers, prospects, employees or other individuals into GatiDoc, and for providing notices or obtaining consent where required by applicable law. This does not remove GatiDoc's own responsibilities for processing undertaken by it.

17. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to GatiDoc, our service providers, legal requirements or data practices. Material changes will be communicated appropriately where required. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
